Hide-A-Way Golf Course first opened for play in 1955. The course closed in 1980 but re-opened in 2000. Hide-A-Way Golf Course is family owned and operated.

Hide-A-Way Golf Course is a par 35, nine hole parkland style track. The wide fairways are open and flat, making this course ideal for walking. The medium sized greens are generally flat as well, and vary in speed. Hide-A-Way Golf Course boasts a total length of 3,064 yards situated on approximately 90 acres.

The course is nestled in the hills of southern Harrison County. Although water does not come into play, the course is framed by the West Fork River. The Fairways are cut with extra width, keeping the public golfer in mind. The bent grass greens have been completely renovated to provide a competitive playing surface. The tees have also been rebuilt to exacting standards. There are no bunkers on the course.
